Groundnut farming has a rich history in India, dating back to the sixteenth century when the plant was first introduced to the country. Jay Bhai Kaneriya, a passionate groundnut farmer from Khirasara village in Upleta-Rajkot-Gujarat, has been working in agriculture for over two decades.

Sustainability is paramount to Jay, and he has optimised his farming practices to improve soil management and planting systems to overcome a range of challenges on his farm. He believes that traceability and advanced technology are critical components of making his farming more efficient and sustainable, resulting in a distinctive product that stands out from others in the market.

Jay has been collaborating with UPL for the past three years and has used a variety of our products, including Zeba, Copio, and Reno. He was particularly impressed with UPL's dedication to providing him with the best tools and support, which included a sprayer machine and a drone. These tools allowed him to reduce spraying costs by 25% and increase groundnut production by 30%.
